Lucid times!
I met this kind gentleman, a psychonaut, here in Puerto Escondido and after hearing my story was determined to give me an LSD experience. I gladly accepted his challenge. Typical me I underdressed for my visit as it’s 32C here on the coast, different story up high so hence the get up in my picture. Jajaja! So I drove up for the night with a little bit of rainfall along my path on my moto. Upon arrival I was greeted by Alex with great cheer, was able to settle in quickly. He told me of his schedule he’d planned out, mushrooms today, with some cannabis of course and LSD with mushrooms tomorrow and a surprise!
So we proceeded with our lunch, shortly after we sat down on our balcony and had our mushrooms. I had a few families raw and one in honey, one honey for Alex, if I’m remembering correctly. Nevertheless we enjoyed our experiences that afternoon watching the beautiful sunset over the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico.
The following morning we woke had breakfast and a short time later Alex produced three of the prettiest hits of acid I’ve ever seen. He gave me two as well as two families of mushrooms, the first time for me to mix medicines like this so I thought, yes why not. Within the hour we moved up the mountainside to a favourite spot of his, who had become immersed in his trip. An hour had passed and he was a bit perplexed with witnessing me not tripping at all so he broke out his secret weapon. An inhibitor which when smoked will open up the mind further than ever with the LSD. He proceeded to smoke, asking me to observe the technique as well as him as he lied there in this flat beautiful space high up the mountainside. It was enjoyable to say the least watching him trip as he was exclaiming that he’d become dismembered and his limbs were down the mountainside! Very entertaining. Now was my turn, I smoked just like I was shown, asked to lie on my side and wait for it. After a few minutes he approached and asked if I felt anything, as I rose to answer him no, I witnessed the earth breathing, looking up the trees were singing to me and all of the pine needles helplessly everywhere began to take on these beautiful patters all around me. I was amazed, my first hallucinogenic experience with the medicine with nearly four years of treatments. I was so fucking thrilled that I truly immersed myself into the experience. Unfortunately it only lasted an hour, the physical effects had lingered on for some time while Alex was still in full blown status, jajaja!
The psilocybin mixture was nice because I’ve been enjoying the effects of it and with the LSD it was an interesting combination that I look forward to trying again soon. Many thanks to all this reaches and I look forward to my next experience. Aho!
