I’m Matthew, an American whose parents travelled us to Europe and made me realise from a young age that there are a hell of a lot better places to live than Detroit, Michigan. So I left in ’82 and eventually settled in Trinidad and Tobago in ’88. Some years later in ’01 during the annual Monday Carnival festivities I was assaulted from behind landing me in the hospital for nearly a month. That’s where my real story begins with the medicines prescribed by Dr Rasheed Adam, my neurosurgeon. He introduced to me a bevy of Mother Natures Medicines. First of course was the cannabis for the severe seizures, then the venom of the S. American tarantula spider for my lost senses, taste , touch, smell and hearing. Soon a daily diet of Magic Mushrooms for my lost memory. Many years later I’m granted the use of Ayahuasca and others for the physical realignment of my brainwaves which had become completely disconnected due to the severity of the blow to my head.
